Meet Chef Adam Amato
Born in Howard Beach, Queens, and raised on Long Island, New York, Chef Adam Amato grew up immersed in the restaurant business. His parents owned and operated pizzerias and restaurants for over 40 years, making the kitchen and dining room a defining part of his upbringing. Surrounded by Italian family traditions and relatives who also owned restaurants throughout New York and New Jersey, Adam learned the flavors, techniques, and time-honored recipes of both Northern and Southern Italian cooking from an early age.
Today, he brings that passion to Amato’s Catering in Scottsdale, Arizona. Every order is personally prepared by Chef Adam using carefully selected fresh ingredients, family recipes, and the care of a chef whose name is behind every dish. From authentic Italian entrées and handcrafted pastas to true New York pizza, freshly baked breads, and desserts made from scratch, his goal is to create food that feels generous, unforgettable, and made especially for your gathering.
Amato’s Catering is not a high-volume kitchen. We accept a limited number of orders so Chef Adam can personally handcraft every order, from carefully selecting the ingredients through preparation and cooking, while maintaining the freshness, quality, attention, and authenticity that set Amato’s Catering apart.
